Fishing the backcounty waters of the Chassahowitzka or the clear pristine flats of Homosassa Bay is world class. Sight fishing for Tarpon, Snook and Redfish in the shallow waters will keep you on your toes. The Gulf of Mexico side of Central Florida has a multitude of habitat ranging from, flats, oyster bars, hard rock, turtle grass, rock grass and paddle grass. There are thousands of small marsh islands, covered with needle rush cord grass and mangroves.

The coastal marshes gain their extraordinary productivity from the abundance of nutrients delivered by the spring-fed fresh water rivers and the Gulf tide, which disperses the nutrients over the broad shallow backcountry and flats. Where there is food there are fish! Our goal is to provide anglers with challenging, successful and memorable fishing experiences! Discover Homosassa and Chassahowitzka, "A Fisherman's Paradise" and one of Florida 's best kept secrets, uncrowded backcountry and flats fishing at its best!

Custom Charters

We customize itineraries from one day guided excursions to also offer multi-day, all-inclusive fishing packages from a minimum of three days to one week or more. Accommodations and hospitality are sure to please.

Waiting lists are common with some of the veteran guides as we specialize in corporate groups, who return each and every year.

Photo Safaris

The primitive scenery of the Homosassa area is unsurpassed and creates and ideal setting for site seeing, bird watching and photo safaris. The saltwater flats and hammocks of Florida's Nature Coast are home to countless species of migratory and year-round birds. The Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge, established in 1941, is comprised of over 31,000 acres of saltwater bays, estuaries and brackish marshes. The refuge was established primarily to protect waterfowl habitat and is home to over 250 species of birds, over 50 species of reptiles and amphibians, and at least 25 different species of mammals including the endangered West Indian Manatee. The refuge is also the prime wintering grounds for the migrating Whooping Cranes. Come experience the unspoiled beauty of Florida like it was hundreds of years ago!

*Additional time can be added to a Photo Safari for $100/hour

Many times we are asked about a tipping policy. Please remember that it is customary to tip your Captain/Guide if: he has done his job professionally, he arrives on time with a neat clean boat, has very good equipment ready to fish and he works hard for you to ensure your day is outstanding, and especially, if he cleans your catch for you.

A 20% gratuity is considered a normal tipping percentage.
