Gourmet Getaway

The "Gourmet Getaway" Tour, is a two day fishing adventure for a minimum of six (6) anglers, fishing two of Florida's most beautiful waterways, the Homosassa and Chassahowitzka Rivers. Experience Florida like it was hundreds of years ago!

Anglers would depart from Mac Rae's Bait Shop in Old Homosassa, three (3) per boat, for an exciting day fishing the pristine grass flats and nearshore waters of the 31,000 acre Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge and the Gulf of Mexico. The tour will be led by "World Class Angler", Captain "Red ED" Brennan, who has been fishing these waters for over 25 years. All Guides are USCG licensed and insured.

After an exciting day targeting a vast variety of gamefish such as Redfish, Speckled Sea Trout, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder and Sharks, the anglers would return in the unspoiled Chassahowitzka River. The evening would be spent at the Chassahowitzka Hotel, where the Strickland Family will prepare a gourmet dinner feast! After dinner, fish tales usually follow!! An evening at the Chaz Hotel, located in a tranquil fishing village will be just part of your unforgettable memories.

Day two, will start with a hot breakfast prepared at the hotel, followed by a short walk to the boats, where a boxed lunch will be awaiting your arrival. The second day we'll go back out the Chassahowitzka River hunting and sight-fishing for more rod bending, reel screaming action! This day will end with another beautiful ride coming back into the Homosassa River.

The cost is $500.00 per person, with a 50% non-refundable deposit required to book reservations. Additional days available upon request.
